10/01/09 Well a new month has started. Haven't exercised enough due to OT at work but I'm doing really well on portion control and am down to 333#

10/05/09 Went to a wedding on the weekend-had a small piece of cake and a glass of champagne. I'm still in the 333's but need to get back out walking daily.

10/07/09 We finally got to go out for our walk last night. We just did 3 laps at the mall and it took us almost an hour so I am definitely outta practice. The good news is that I am down a pound because of the walk. We're going back out again tonight!

10/08/09 The walking's paying off. We went out and did more than 2 miles and walked the mall for over an hour yesterday. I lost another pound! My BMI is down another point, just 10.5 #'s to go to the next BMI category. I'm at the lowest I've been since April of 2004. Things are going well and as before, exercise is the key to long term success.

10/09/09 Another day of portion control, another day of walking, another pound dropped...

10/12/09 Well, a rather bad weekend food and exercise-wise. I gained 2 pounds over the weekend. I need to stick to my plan and get out walking regularly again.

10/13/09 Went walking for over an hour last night. The scales dropped 2.4# this morning. It just goes to show that exercise is going to be the key for me keeping the weight off.

10/19/09 Bad weekend food and exercise-wise. I really need to get back on track. We roasted a turkey yesterday so I think that'll help having lean protein readily available for the next week.

10/20/09 Well the scale is going in the right direction but I need to get out walking more.

10/28/09 Well got out walking for over an hour last night and ate on plan. the scale went down almost 3# in a day. I have to keep up the good work...
