283# 04/01/05 It's been a hectic time and I haven't been exercising like I should. April is shaping up as a busy time with the Faire and lawn cutting so I'll be getting in much more exercise. I'm sure my thighs will thank me.

04/08/05 Last week I actually went back up to 286 over the weekend. All the rain, my lack of exercise, and grazing all contributed to a bad week.

So this week I was resolved to take off the weight and get exercising. I rode my bike alomst every day and walked in the mall when I couldn't ride. I got back down to 280.5 and am really looking forward to Scarborough Faire this weekend. I'll be out in the fresh air walking miles and miles each day and getting in plenty of exercise.

Because most of the food there is fried or sugary it's actually pretty easy to stick to the program. "That doesn't make sense?" I hear you saying... Well, since MOST of the food is not on the program it doesn't leave very many WLS choices so I tend to go for those few items like pasta primavera and garlic cheese bread. Plenty of protein and lots of veggies.

04/16/05 Yesterday I worked from home. Usually this means a pretty easy workload and a lot of goofing off around the house. Well, yesterday it meant back-to-back conference calls and a lot of extra work. I didn't eat very much during the day and didn't even have time to drink anything except coffee. I had bacon and eggs for dinner-a throwback to my days as a "poor child growing up in Canada."

Despite my tough work schedule I had lots of energy that evening for some reason and went out for a bike ride. Well the lack of food and the increased exercise helped push me back down to 279.5#.

I'm looking forward to Scarborough Faire tomorrow and all the walking I'll get in.

04/22/05 A good week of eating. I went for a bike ride last night. It all paid off. I'm down to 279#, the lowest ever.

04/30/05 Yesterday's weight wasn't great so I cut back on my intake and went for a bike ride last night and I'm back down to 279#, right where I should be...

05/01/05 May is here... getting married in 28 days, or is that 27?

05/13/05 It hasn't been a great couple of weeks weight-wise. With all the traveling for the wedding and lack of exercise I have been creeping back up. I'm determined to get in a bike ride every night this week and will get back down to where I should be by Friday.
