1/1/14 Working on exercising more regularly

1/5/14 The phentermine is helping my metabolism so I don't eat as much. Low blood sugar on 4 days since my follow-up with Dr. McCarty last month. Walking almost every day is helping.

1/17/14 Walking about 3 days a week for >30 mins. Will try for 5 days at 45...

1/24/14 Between the phentermine and the walking and sticking to my diet, the weight seems to be coming off slowly.

2/22/14 I was 319# at Dr. McCarty's yesterday. He decided to take me off the phentermine a month early since my BP was a bit high and we both agreed that exercise is the key. Now that the weather is nicer I can get out walking again. The cruise is next week so we can walk the deck each morning.

3/9/14 Got back from a cruise and walked each day and only gained 4/10's of a pound.

38.1 pounds left to go to get back to where I was in 2005 after my RNY (279#).

The next goal after that is another 59 pounds to get to 220# and then hopefully under 200# at some point in the future.
