"'Warped' is another first on the Internet for us," said Douglas Conway, GalaxyOnline's Chief Executive Officer and President, "GalaxyOnline is the first to produce original science-fiction sketch comedies for broadcast on the Net."

In a family connection Walter Koenig's son Andrew Koenig will direct his father in an episode of "Warped." Other Star Trek alums working on the project include DC Fontana and David Gerrold.

"We are encouraging the actors to improvise a lot of their material," the younger Koenig said, "The series will be a lot of fun for our viewers, as they will get to see their favorite actors in a different light."

According to a company press release, one of the upcoming spoofs will feature the bridge set from Star Trek: Voyager, one of many recognizable science-fiction sets from various series and movies that will be used by "Warped."

The series will also spoof more than Star Trek, so look for appearances by other science-fiction stars such as Mark Hamill ("Star Wars"), Richard Hatch ("Battlestar Galactica"), Claudia Christian and Bill Mumy ("Babylon 5") and many more.

GalaxyOnline will commence broadcasts on their website beginning February 1, with a new episode appearing every day. For information, visit their website at
